Quick answers

How do I install on Linux without sudo?

Use the AppImage — it doesn't need any system install. chmod +x xkg-desktop.AppImage then double-click.

Can I move my XKG data to a new computer?

Yes. The whole database is a single file at ~/.local/share/xkg-desktop/ (Linux), %LOCALAPPDATA%\xkg-desktop\ (Win), or ~/Library/Application Support/xkg-desktop/ (Mac). Just copy it.

Does XKG work offline?

100% for local search, history browsing, and tagging. You need internet to send new messages to providers or to sync from them.

What happens to my data if I cancel Pro?

Nothing. Your data is yours forever, on your machine. Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, so there's nothing to cancel.

Do you have an enterprise / on-prem version?

Yes. Contact sales@seele.agency for an on-prem build with custom branding, single-sign-on, and a 1-year support contract.
